Sharon (Wood) Gerhardt, age 67, of Brownsdale, Minn. formerly Minneapolis, Minn., passed away August 7, 2008 at St. Marks Nursing Home in Austin, Minn.
Survivors: She is survived by her daughter: Debbee (Art) Schindele; step-grandchildren: Melissa (Peter) Doukas, Jessica Maroto-Sanchez; great grandchildren: Nicholas and Sophia; sisters: Barbara Spencer (Rob Jordahl), Judy (Nick) Zachariason; brother Wayne Wood; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth and Vivian Wood; sister Eileen Maldonado.
Visitation:
Service: A gathering of family and friends will be held from 1 – 3 p.m., Wednesday Aug. 20, 2008 at the United Methodist Church in Brownsdale, prayer service at 2 p.m.
Memorials: In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
