‘Pedal for Birds’ bike ride Saturday

The first Pedal For Birds takes place Saturday morning.
The ride begins at 10 a.m. Saturday in Lake Louise State Park north of LeRoy.
A Minnesota State Parks naturalist will guide bicyclists along the 8-mile route.
Birds, animals and prairie flowers will be the attraction.
The ride begins promptly at 10 a.m. Saturday from the picnic shelter near Lake Louise in the state park.
Those who plan to ride their bikes from the trailhead in the city of LeRoy will receive a police escort from the trailhead and north along Mower County Highway 14 to the state park entrance.
Free ice cream refreshments will be served at the conclusion of the bike ride Saturday.
