The Austin Athletics (8-11 overall) had a late letdown in a 4-3 loss to Stewartville in the second round of the Southern Minny Regional playoffs in Stewartville Friday.

Chad Falk of Stewartville hit a two-out, two-run homer in the bottom of the ninth to win it for Stewartville.

Kasey Krekling went the distance and took the loss for Austin.
