Dorothy L. Bartlett, 76
Dorothy Lucille Bartlett, 76, of Mesa, Ariz., passed away on July 13, 2008.
She was born on Jan. 1, 1932 to Harry and Illa (Davey) Miller.
She married Allen Bartlett on August 22, 1953. To this union nine children were born:
Bill (Laurie) Bartlett, Big Lake; Nyla (Steve) Adair, Georgia; Mike (Shawn) Bartlett, Austin; Connie (Rick) Robinson, Big Lake; Scott (Amy) Bartlett, Big Lake; Jody (Ray) Bartlett, Big Lake; Tony (Chris) Bartlett, Ham Lake. She has 20 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Dorothy loved bowling and golf. She was a long time member of Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Austin and Mesa. She and Al belonged and worked at the Eagles Club in Austin. She will be sadly missed by many friends and family.
She is also survived by two sisters, Carol and the late Al Bierdrodt, and Donna (Larry) Schut.
She is preceded in death by a their set of twins, Barb and Bruce; mother, Illa Mae Spoelstra; stepfather, John Spoelsta; brother-in-law, Al Bierdrodt.
Funeral services were held at Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Mesa, Ariz., on July 16. A future memorial service is pending in Austin. Memorials may be sent to 1035 South 79th Way, Mesa, AZ. 85208.
