Ronald Sydnes, 60, of Winona, died Friday, June 13, 2008, at St. Marys Hospital, Rochester. He was born May 14, 1948, to Irving and Blanche (Kelly) Sydnes in Albert Lea where he grew up and attended school. Ronnie loved his dog, Abby. He was a very polite and caring person, who treated everyone he met with respect. Ronnie dealt with his handicap.
Survivors include his sisters, Bonnie (Paul) Amann of Albert Lea, Cindy (John) Ahrens of Winona; brothers, Terry Sydnes and Randy Sydnes, both of Austin; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, Irving and Blanche Sydnes; his brother, Ricky Sydnes, and half-brother, Tom Kelly.
Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Worlein Funeral Home Chapel in Austin with The Rev. Kristi Koppel officiating. Friends may greet the family one hour before the service. There will be no reviewal.
