The Austin Eagles went 1-2 at the Class C 12-and-under Girls' Fast-Pitch State Tournament this weekend at Todd Park.

Austin edged Stillwater in an 11-10 thriller in their first game on Saturday. The Eagles found themselves in another tight game against eventual third-place finisher Lake Crystal, but they ended up losing the contest 13-12.

The Eagles were then eliminated 24-2 by the OMGAA Storm.

The Big Lake Hornets went undefeated on the weekend en route to the state championship. They cruised to a 15-0 win in the title game against St. Peter, who had fought its way out of the loser's bracket by playing seven games Sunday with only one pitcher.
