Harry Barnette Jr., 71

Harry Barnette Jr., 71, of Austin, died Tuesday, June 24, 2003, at Austin Medical Center.

He was born April 11, 1932, in Newfolden, to Harry Barnette, Sr. and Ruth (Hansen) Barnette.

On May 4, 1963, he married Ramona Beckel in Rochester.

Mr. Barnette was an installer for AT&T for 35 years.

Survivors include his wife, Ramona Barnette, Austin; son, Randy Barnette, Austin; father, Harry Barnette, Sr., Spring Park; sister, Faye (Roger) Femrite, Tonka Bay.

He was preceded in death by his mother.

Visitation: 4 to 8 p.m. today, June 26, 2003, at the funeral home and Friday at the church for one hour before the service.

Service: 1:30 p.m. Friday at St. Olaf Lutheran Church with Rev. Ron Barnett officiating. Casket bearers will be Tim Monson, Duane Monson, Bill Apold, Bud Lau, Nick Slezak and Ambrose Derhaag.

Interment: Oakwood Cemetery with military rites by American Legion Post # 91.
