Ronald and Shelley Kiefer of Elkton announce the engagement of their daughter, Melissa Louise Kiefer, to David Lee Dyke, son of Delores Dyke of Hayfield and the late Roy Dyke.

Melissa is employed at Mayo Clinic and David is employed at the Fillmore County Sheriff's Department.

The couple will be married Aug. 9.

Mary is a 1991 graduate of Austin High School and a 1998 graduate of Riverland Community College with a degree in graphic communication.

Daniel is a 1996 graduate of Austin High School and is employed in Owatonna.

The couple will be married at 4:30 p.m. on July 26, 2003, at New Life Vineyard. The reception will follow at St. Edward's Corcoran Center.

Wayne and Leona Miller of Oakland announce the engagement of their daughter, Karen Ann Miller, to Glen Allen Rothgery, son of Glen and Kathy Rothgery of Loveland, Colo.

Karen is a graduate of Austin High and attended Riverland Technical College. She is self-employed with Bottom Line Accounting in Timnath, Colo.

Glen is a senior at Colorado State University and is employed at Advanced Energy as a product engineer.

The couple was married at 1 p.m. on June 21, 2003, at St. Malo, Chapel on the Rock at Allenspark, Colo. The couple will honeymoon on a trip to Scotland.
