Irene E. Tollerud, 87
Irene Ella Tollerud, 87, of Austin, died Sunday, Jan. 26, 2003, at Austin Medical Center.
She was born June 24, 1915, in Mower County, to Cord John and Ida (Miller) Quast. She attended school in Austin, graduating from Austin High School in 1933. After completing her education, she worked for the Geo. A. Hormel Company for 10 years.
On Aug. 6, 1937, she married Orrin P. Tollerud at the parsonage of St. Olaf Lutheran Church. They lived in Austin, where Irene enjoyed working on crossword puzzles, reading and traveling.
She was a member of St. Olaf Lutheran Church, the Ladies Circle and the Milwaukee Women's Club. Orrin died Feb. 11, 1988.
Survivors include children, Odin Tollerud, White Bear Lake; Doris (Donald) Sabanish, Maple Park, Ill.; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brothers, Elmer and Erwin "Pop" Quast; and sisters, Helen Meyer, Margaret Wehner, Elvina Hansen and Gladys Haney.
Visitation: 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 29, 2003, at the funeral home and Thursday at the church for one hour before the service.
Service: 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Olaf Lutheran Church with Rev. Kris Wee officiating.
Interment: Fairview Cemetery, near Oakland.

Ronald C. Wilson, 67
Ronald Charles Wilson, 67, of Austin, died Saturday, Jan. 25, 2003, in Austin.
He was born June 12, 1935, to Harry and Adah (Lewis) Wilson in Milwaukee, Wis.
A lifelong Austin resident, Ron was a member of the United States Air Force, and served in Korea. He retired from Hormel Foods and enjoyed fishing, golfing, photography and hunting.
Survivors include daughter, Ronda (Ron) Osborne, Hampton, Va.; sons, Christopher Wilson, Mark Wilson and Michael Wilson, all of Austin; sisters, Lorraine Palmer, Savannah, Ga.; Shirley Bogdanich, Austin; Helen Christensen, Albert Lea; Donna (Thomas) Whelan, Austin; Yvonne Cutcliff, Henderson, Nev.; nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation: 4 to 7 p.m. today, Jan. 28, 2003, at the funeral home and Wednesday at the church for one hour before the service.
Service: 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at St. Olaf Lutheran Church with Pastor Ron Barnett officiating.
Interment: Oakwood Cemetery with military rites by American Legion Post 91 and VFW Post 1216.
