Hayfield sophomore David Johnson scored 17 of his season-high 28 points in the fourth quarter to lift the Hayfield boys' basketball team to a 62-54 Hiawatha Valley League victory at Cannon Falls Thursday night.

Johnson, who also led the Vikings (4-5, 2-2) with seven rebounds, hit five consecutive shots from the field -- including three three-pointers -- for 13 points in a row as Hayfield overcame a three-point Bombers lead entering the fourth quarter.
