Lisa Hoegh's 25 points was single-handedly too much for Blooming Prairie to handle in a 60-56 non-conference loss for the Blossoms Tuesday night at Byron.

The senior guard for the Bears cashed in on four three-pointers and had the Blooming Prairie defense chasing her inside and out.

"She's just got a total package," said BPHS coach John Worke. "They were a sneaky 25. We were keying on her, we knew wherever she was at all times.

"Whenever we stepped out on her she drove and whenever we gave her room she'd knock it down from outside."

Sophomore Alicia Nelson led Blooming Prairie with 15 points. Lisi Ingvalson chipped in 11 points and a team-high seven rebounds.

The Blossoms (6-6, 4-2) host Medford in a Gopher/Valley Conference contest Friday night.
