Larry Craig Ingersoll, 53

Larry Craig Ingersoll, 53, of Austin died Friday morning, Dec. 13, 2002, at his home in Austin.

He was born Nov. 19, 1949, the son of Ivan and Lois (Long) Ingersoll in Austin.

He attended school in Austin and enlisted in the United States Army in 1967.

He served with the 1st Calvary Infantry Division in Germany and Vietnam until his discharge in 1970.

After returning to Minnesota, Larry drove a semi until his retirement in 1993.

On September 3, 1994, he married Beverly Haskin.

He was a member of Crane Community Chapel and VFW Post 1216.

Larry enjoyed his family, camping, fishing, lying about fishing, NASCAR racing and football.

Larry was known for his love, his loyalty and his sense of humor.

His family and friends will miss him.

Survivors include his wife Beverly Ingersoll of Austin; one son, Brandon Ingersoll; two daughters, Tammy (Will) Davenport and Tonya Ingersoll all of Austin; two step-sons, Michael (Tracey) Haskin of Cottage Grove and Allen (Heidi) Haskin of Austin; one step-daughter, Dena (Randy Hegna) Haskin of Austin; 19 grandchildren; his parents, Ivan and Lois Ingersoll of Austin; one brother, Tony (Diane) Ingersoll of Claremont; three sisters, Mary (Ken) Leichtman of Mapleview, Helen Kamp of Austin and Charlene Shipp of St. Louis, Mo.; many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

His grandparents, one sister, a granddaughter and his father-in-law preceded him in death.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 17, 2002, at the Worlein Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ron Barnett officiating. Interment with military honors by the VFW Post 1216 will follow the service in Grandview Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the Worlein Funeral Home on Monday, Dec. 16, from 4 to 8 p.m. and for one-hour prior the service on Tuesday.

Casketbearers will be Bruce Tabor, Gary Tabor, Larry Tabor, Brian Tabor, Andy Schweihs and Tom Engelman.

Memorials are preferred to the family.

Dorothy E. Roberts, 85

Dorothy E. Roberts, 85, of Adams, formerly of Lake Crystal, died Friday, Dec. 13, 2002, at Adams Health Care Center.

She was born Sept. 8, 1917, in Truman to John and Erma (Anderson) Winch.

After her marriage to Everett Roberts, they farmed in the Lake Crystal area until her husband's death in 1975.

She moved to Lake Crystal and lived there until she entered Adams Health Care Center in 1994.

She enjoyed helping people and always had a friendly smile.

She liked crocheting and belonged to the Eastern Star.

Survivors include son Robert (Sue) Roberts, Elkton; daughter Wilma Roberts, Bemidji; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; brother Elmer Winch, Bemidji.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, two sisters and five brothers.

Visitation: One hour before the service at the funeral home.

Service: 11 a.m., Monday, Dec. 16, 2002 at Worlein Funeral Home Chapel in Austin.
