Jack Jackson, 55

Jack Jackson, 55, of Blooming Prairie, died Friday, Dec. 27, 2002, at Prairie Manor Nursing Home in Blooming Prairie.

He was born Jan. 11, 1947, in Dale County, Ala., to Frank and Lera (Denton) Jackson.

He grew up in Alabama and moved to Minnesota when he was 16.

He lived in Anoka, Coon Rapids and LeCenter before moving to Blooming Prairie.

He was a foreman at Consolidated Containers in Minneapolis.

He enjoyed fishing, coin collecting, animals and spending time with his grandchildren.

Survivors include sons Thomas Jackson, Adams, Dewey Jackson, Dexter; daughter Paula (Oscar Jr.) Rainville, Dexter; 5 grandchildren; brothers Dewey Jackson, Fulton, Miss., Paul Jackson, Bothn, Ala.; sisters Merle (Foy) Cobb, Mobile, Ala., Jeannie Thompson, Opelika, Ala.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and four sisters.

Visitation: 4 to 8 p.m., Monday, Dec. 30, 2002, at the funeral home.

Service: A private family service will be held at a later date.

Interment: Woodlawn Cemetery, LeCenter.
