We hope that area veterans (and others) felt a sense of pride from reading our special section that highlighted the accomplishments of local veterans on Sunday.

We're honored that we were able to serve as a medium between the veterans and our readers. The section also gave veterans a permanent memory for their descendants on what they had to go through and endure, while fighting for what this country stands for.
