Amy Jo Riley and Ross Richard Thede, both of Rochester, announce their engagement.

Amy is the daughter of Dave and Denise Riley of Peterson, Iowa. Ross is the son of Dean and Cindy Thede of Waterloo, Iowa and Max and Linda McCoy of Kalona, Iowa.

Ross and Amy attended Morningside College in Sioux City, Iowa. Ross is the sports editor at the Austin Daily Herald newspaper in Austin and Amy works at St. Mary's Hospital in Rochester.

The couple will be married at 5:30 p.m. Oct. 19, 2002, at United Church of Christ in Reinbeck, Iowa. The reception will be held at Oak Leaf Country Club in Reinbeck.

Jennifer Lynn Graham and Daniel Gary Zimmerman announce their engagement. Their parents are Michael and Pamela Graham of Maryville, Mo. and Gary and Marjorie Zimmerman of Austin.

Jennifer is a 1999 graduate of Drake University. She teaches group piano classes, serves as assistant director at Keyboard West Studios and teaches bassoon lessons.

Daniel is a 1999 graduate of Upper Iowa University and is a business systems analyst at Legacy Marketing Group.

The couple will be married Oct. 12, 2002, in Des Moines, Iowa.

Darcy is a graduate of Austin High School and Mankato State University.

Chris is a graduate of Mayo High School and the University of Notre Dame.

Both are employed at Paychex, Inc. in Mendota Heights.

The couple will be married at 2 p.m. Oct. 12, 2002, at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Austin. The reception will be held at the Austin Country Club.
