The Paramount Theatre will celebrate its 73rd anniversary Saturday with a Buster Keaton, Charlie Chaplin film festival.
Four silent films will be shown, including "The General," "The Playhouse" and "Cops," all of which star Keaton, and "Payday," which stars Chaplin.
"They're classic comedies that we thought would be movies that appeal to people who do not usually see those kinds of movies," Paramount Director Scott Anderson said. "It's something a little different.
They're movies by a couple of brilliant comedians."
The festival begins at 7 p.m. and should last until 9:30 p.m.
"The General" will be 75 minutes long; "The Playhouse," 23 minutes long; "Cops," 18 minutes long and "Payday" is 23 minutes long.
Admission is $1.
