The Austin girls' volleyball team picked up their second win of the season with a 3-0 sweep of visiting United South Central Monday night in non-conference action.

The Packers won by scores of 15-1, 16-14, 15-10.

"We just came out and USC didn't have anything we couldn't handle," said AHS first-year coach Lisa Grunewald.

Theresa Hirsch led Austin with 18 kills, seven blocks and five ace serves.

The Packers (2-6, 1-2) host Rochester Mayo Thursday night at 7:30 p.m.
