Larry and Pam Grimes of Plano, Texas announce the engagement of their daughter, Brittany, to Doug Dopita, son of Steve and Bev Dopita of Park City, Utah.

Both graduated from Texas Tech University in 2001. Brittany is currently a manager at Nordstrom in Dallas and Doug is with EDS in Plano.

The couple will be married July 27, 2002, in Plano, Texas and will reside in McKinney, Texas.

The couple will be married July 13, 2002 at the groom's parents' home in Rose Creek.

Michelle is the daughter of Kay Marie Rahman of Waseca and Randy is the son of Mary Ann Matter and the late Arvin John Matter of Austin.
