A resolution approving a proposal for a storm water plan for the Cook Farm site will be discussed at tonight's Austin City Council meeting.

The proposal, submitted by Bolton and Menk, Inc. of Mankato, offers to plan and develop the storm water system for $9,900.

The Cook Farm site is located on the city's northwest side, just north of 18th Avenue NW and Kmart.

The council also is expected to discuss the installation of an air conditioning unit at the Paramount Theatre.

Installation of the air conditioner would put it over the Paramount's property line, onto city-owned land and the council must approve this before it can be hooked up by the theater.

The council will discuss a proposal approving the assessment of railroad crossings in the city.

Short Elliot Hendrickson, Inc. (SEH) of St. Paul has proposed evaluating five crossings for $6,645. Hormel Foods Corp. plans to pay $1,000 of that fee because one of the crossings is a designated truck route into the company.

A resolution setting a public hearing for July 1 for the final plat approval for Keenan Acres is expected to be approved.

The council will meet at 5:30 p.m. in the council chambers at the Austin City Hall.
