Don't let the weather fool you. It's finally here.

The Memorial Day weekend is traditionally the unofficial start of summer. There's many different activities to choose from, including camping and boating. And there's many that will attend numerous observances on Monday to honor those who have served our country.

However, there's still a chance to explore other options this weekend.

Tonight and Saturday, the Rochester Repertory Theatre Company presents "Wonderful Tennessee" at 7:15 p.m. each night. For reservations, call (507) 289-1737.

But for those looking to make a further jaunt, there's the International May Festival at City Park in Clear Lake, Iowa.

Still, it's always nice to stay close during a hectic weekend. And for those that choose to do so, the Paramount Theatre will host the Jim Jayes Magic and Puppet Show at 2 and 7 p.m. Saturday. Tickets, which can be purchased at the door, are $4 for adults and $1 for children.
