Southland catcher Nate Bergene and the Southland Rebels are seeded fourth for the Section 1A West Sub-Section baseball tournament, which begins today in Austin. LeRoy-Ostrander/Grand Meadow is the third-seeded team in the section, Lyle/Pacelli is seeded seventh, while Blooming Prairie is the top-seeded squad in the Sub-Section. The Blossoms get a bye through today's first round, and will play the winner between Southland and Medford. The Rebels play Medford at 5 p.m. at Riverland Community College. Second-seed Glenville-Emmons plays Lyle/Pacelli at 5 p.m. at Marcusen Park, and LOGM follows with their match against Goodhue at 7 p.m.
