The parents of Lisa Marie Boe and Robert Nathan Humphrey announce the forthcoming marriage of their children.

Lisa is the daughter of William and Linda Boe of Taopi. Nathan is the son of Robert Humphrey of Lyle and Pat Humphrey of LeRoy.

The bride-to-be was a 1998 graduate of Southland High School. She attended Southwest State University and Mankato State University, earning an associate of arts degree. She is employed by Farmers State Bank of Adams.

The groom-to-be was also a 1998 graduate of Southland High School. He is employed as a regional supervisor with SM&P.

The couple will be married at Sacred Heart Church in Adams Sept. 1, 2001.

Mrs. Catherine Slezak of Austin announces the forthcoming marriage of her daughter, Holly Denise, to Patrick Dean Murphy, son of Dean and Carol Murphy, of Rose Creek.

The wedding is planned for Aug. 4, 2001, at St. Edwards Catholic Church in Austin.

Len and Pat Schulke announce the engagement of their daughter, Karen, to Chris Platt, son of Kip and Susie Platt of McFarland, Wis.

Chris is a 2000 graduate of the University of Wisconsin-LaCrosse. Karen attended the University of Wisconsin-LaCrosse and is a 2001 graduate of Riverland Community College.

The wedding will be held at 4 p.m., Aug. 25, 2001, at St. Olaf Lutheran Church.

The couple plans to live in the Madison, Wis. area.

The parents of Tracy Ann Ellingson and Matthew James Grimm are pleased to announce the engagement of their children.

Tracy is the daughter of Alan and Kathleen Ellingson of Plymouth. Matthew is the son of Gerald and Joan Grimm of Morrison, Ill.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Wayzata High School. She received a degree in journalism from the University of Minnesota.

She is employed by the Inventure Group in Minneapolis.

The groom-to-be is a graduate of Austin High School. He also has a degree in journalism from the University of Minnesota.

He is employed by HMS Host as a general manager.
