LaDonna Bell, 76

LaDonna Maxine Bell, age 76, of Austin died Thursday, April 6, 2000 at Austin Medical Center.

She is survived by her husband, daughters and sons-in-law, Marnie and Bernard Loven and Karen and Wesley Brugger of Minneapolis; brother and sister-in-law Larry and Pat Avery of Forest Lake, Minn.; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Edward and Patricia Bustad of Austin, Minn., nephews, nieces and cousins.

· Service: A memorial service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, April 15, 2000 at the Clasen-Jordan Mortuary with the Rev. Don Deines officiating.

Merle Lamon, 85

Merle F. Lamon, 85, of the Adams Nursing Home and formerly of LeRoy died this morning, April 14, 2000, at the Austin Medical Center.

Hindt-Hutchins Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Marguerite Monnahan, 73

Marguerite I. "Peggy" Monnahan, 73, of 908 Fourth Ave. NE, died Tuesday, April 11, 2000 at Breckenridge in Austin.

She is survived by two brothers and sisters-in-law Clifford and Dorothy Monnahan, Austin, Ed and Vivian Monnahan, Everly, Iowa; special friends Jeanette Barnholtz, Austin and Karen Sybilrud, Austin; nieces and nephews.

· Service: A funeral mass will be celebrated 10:30 a.m. on Monday, April 17, 2000 at St. Edward’s Catholic Church with Father Hubert Bopschert officiating.

· Interment: Calvary Cemetery.

· Visitation: There will be a 6 p.m. wake service on Sunday at Mayer Funeral Home where friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. and also from 9 to 10 a.m. on Monday.

Josie Wilson, 79

Josie Irene Wilson, 79, of Austin, died Wednesday, April 12, at Austin Medical Center.

She is survived by daughter and son-in-law Nancy and John Hagen, Minneapolis; brother-in-law Ernest Wilson, Austin; sisters-in-law Clara Gunnufson, Austin, Maudine Rasmussen, Austin, Doris Baumann, Hayfield; nieces and nephews; and special friend Marilyn Sucha, Austin.

· Service: 10:30 a.m. Monday, April 17 at St. Olaf Lutheran Church with the Rev. James Mikkelson officiating.

· Interment: Oakwood Cemetery

· Visitation: 4-7 p.m. at Clasen-Jordan Mortuary Sunday, and for one hour before the service at the church, Monday.

Clasen-Jordan Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.

Donald Thurneau, 80

Donald Earl Thurneau, 80, died Wednesday April 12, 2000 at the Austin Medical Center.

Donald Earl Thurneau was born Feb. 3, 1920 in Austin to Grace Ross. He graduated from the Faribault School for the Deaf where he entered the sports hall of fame. On August 7, 1942 he was united in marriage to Constance Schramm in St. Paul, Minn. Donald retired from Hormel Foods in 1980 after working for 38 years. He resided for the last two years at Comforcare Nursing Home where he received excellent and loving care.

He is survived by his wife Constance; daughter and son-in-law Sandra (Dale) Larson; Grandchildren: Timothy (Katie) Thurneau, Susan (John) Howe, Heidi Larson and fiancée Don Dashner; nine great-grandchildren; brother LaVerne Thurneau, Austin.

He is preceded in death by his son Duane Thurneau.

The honorary casket bearers will be Dale Larson, Larry Mofle, Mike LeHew, Tom Commings, Don Dashner and Bill Arnold.

The casket bearers will be Tim Thurneau, Heidi Larson, Susan Howe, John Howe, Darren Leidal and Daniel Clennon.

· Service: 1:30 p.m. Saturday, April 15, 2000 at the Mayer Funeral Home in Austin with the Rev. Kristin Wee officiating.

· Interment: Grandview Cemetery

· Visitation: Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. on Friday and one hour before the service at Mayer Funeral Home on Saturday.

Melvin Rohne, 88

Melvin J. Rohne, 88, Lyle, died Thursday afternoon, April 13 at Burr Oak Manor Nursing Home.

· Service: 11 a.m. Monday, April 17 at Six Mile Grove Lutheran Church with Rev. Lydia Mittag officiating.

· Interment: Six Mile Grove Cemetery

· Visitation: 4-7 p.m. Sunday at Worlein Funeral Home.
