Some of the most important elections in the state are under way tonight.

Those would be the township elections.

Some folks may be under the misapprehension that only elections in large communities count for anything. In fact, a huge portion of Minnesota’s voting population lives in rural areas, and their issues are decided in these township elections.

If you are a township citizen, get out and vote tonight. People complain that all too often, decisions for the whole state are made by the people of the Twin Cities.

That only happens when township citizens don’t make their voice heard. Be heard – vote tonight.
