Three-year-old Collin Golberg is all smiles as he shares a moment with Santa Claus just before he and the Jolly Old Elf depart on a horse-drawn wagon ride through Lyle Saturday night. Wagon rides with Santa, along with sleigh rides, a live Nativity scene done by five area churches, a lighting contest, a craft and ethnic bake sale, a quilt and hardanger show, an antique toy display called Christmas Memories, a soup supper and many other activities were part of the Christmas in the Country celebration in Lyle. The celebration was organized by the Commercial Club.
