The Blooming Prairie girls basketball team had a big performance from senior Sam Wurst as it topped Waterville-Elysian-Morristown (1-1 overall, 1-1 Gopher) 50-41 in BP Friday.

Sam Wurst poured in a career-high 27 points on 11-of-17 shooting and she also added 11 rebounds and two steals for the Awesome Blossoms (2-0 overall, 1-0 Gopher).
