The Blooming Prairie volleyball team was able to edge out New Richland-HEG (9-15 overall, 2-4 Gopher) by scores of 24-26, 25-19, 20-25, 25-17, 15-7 in BP Thursday.

Sam Wurst and McKenna Hein each had 13 kills for the Awesome Blossoms (13-9 overall, 3-4 Gopher).

“The girls did a great job of finishing and staying aggressive throughout to pull off the win,” BP head coach Ranell Kittelson said.
