The Austin girls tennis team opened its season with a pair of losses in Owatonna Tuesday. The Packers fell to Mankato West 7-0 and they were edged out by a score of 4-3 to Winona.

Austin (0-2 overall, 0-2 Big Nine) swept all three doubles matches in the loss against the Winhawks as the No. 2 team of Chloe Schmitt and Grace Pazurek battled to win in three sets.
