The Lyle-Pacelli baseball team scored three runs in the top of the seventh inning as it came back to beat Glenville-Emmons/Alden-Conger (0-2 overall, 0-2 SEC) 11-8 on the road Tuesday.
Jed Nelson pitched three scoreless innings in relief to get the win for the Athletics (1-0 overall, 1-0 SEC).
“We came out pretty sloppy and fell behind but I am proud of the way we fought back,” LP head coach Brock Meyer said. “We need to work on a lot of little things but the effort was there and we take a win to hopefully start getting a little more confidence.”
