Wings edge out Bruins in overtime

The Austin Bruins lost a shootout for the third time this season as they lost 3-2 to the Abredeen Wings in Riverside Arena Friday.

The Wings (19-18-2-1 overall) won the game when they connected on two of their four penalty shots in the shootout and Austin made just one of its four penalty shots.

The Wings forced overtime when Carson Dimoff scored a goal early in the third period.

Jon Richards had given Austin (18-18-2-3 overall) a 2-1 lead with a second period goal. Alex Schilling stopped 24 shots in net for the Bruins.
