The Hayfield girls basketball team drilled 11 three-pointers as it beat Chatfield (0-7 overall) 65-27 in the road Thursday.

Hayfield led 46-8 at the break as it got most of its starters out of the game early in the second half.

“We shot phenomenally well,” Hayfield co-head coach Kasey Krekling said.

Hayfield (5-1 overall) will play Southland in the HVL-Three Rivers Showdown in Mayo Civic Center 7:45 p.m. Friday.
