Austin holds on for 3-2 win

The Austin Bruins struck early and beat the Minnesota Magacians 3-2 in Riverside Arena Saturday.

Travis Kothenbeutel scored his first of two goals to make put Austin up 2-0 late in the first period and the Magicians (15-8-2 overall) were never able to tie the game. Kothenbeutel, who is from Sauk Rapids, Minnesota, now has nine goals on the season.

Jake Kucharski stopped 22 shots to get the win for Austin (10-8-2-2 overall).
