I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the republic for which it stands, one nation indivisible with liberty and justice for all.

This is what atheists believe in.

A particular system of beliefs built around moral ideals, philosophy of life.

A state of mind expressing love for our way of life, liberty and pursuit of happiness and trust in themselves and their fellow man.

A belief in oneself, knowing right from wrong, truth from lies.

These words come from the heart, the mind, and the body, not from a bunch of books or a group of gods.

This Pledge of Allegiance was written in 1924. This pledge was not written by our forefathers.

I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the republic for which it stands. One nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.

In the 1924 pledge, the words “under God” are not included. They were added in 1954.

This is not a nation under a god. This is a nation of the people, by the people, and for the people. Not some god.

This is what the gods believe.

They believe in the allegiance to the alliance of God with superhuman power to be obeyed and worshipped as a creator or ruler of the universe, a god or a group of gods, to manipulate artfully or by shrewd use of influence, especially in an unfair way, as a politician, to change or falsify accounts for one’s own purpose, to manipulate the people of this nation.
