The Southland softball team lost 3-2 to Saint Charles (12-6 overall, 12-4 Three Rivers) on the road Tuesday.

The Rebels (4-13 overall, 4-13 Three Rivers) had a runner on second base with one out in the top of the seventh, but they couldn’t plate the tying run.
