New members join the KSMQ board of directors

KSMQ Public Television, the PBS television station serving southeastern Minnesota and northeastern Iowa, recently expanded its board of directors by appointing the following new members:

•Jeff Baldus, of Austin, executive director of the Austin Area Community Foundation.

•Joyce Balls-Berry, Ph.D. of Rochester, psychiatric epidemiologist at Mayo Clinic.

•Edward “Ted” Hinchcliffe, Ph.D. of Austin, section leader at The Hormel Institute, University of Minnesota.

•Amy Mattson-Lauters, Ph.D. of Mankato, chairwoman, Department of Mass Media at Minnesota State University.

•Patrick “Pat” Schwab of Austin, senior vice president for sales at Hormel Foods Corp.

Based in Austin, KSMQ Public Television is the nonprofit PBS television station serving 20 counties in southeastern Minnesota and northeastern Iowa. Through its FCC broadcast license, KSMQ Public Television provides local and national programming commercial-free to the communities of Austin, Albert Lea, Rochester, Owatonna, Mason City, Mankato and Winona.
