The Hayfield baseball team was held to just two hits as it lost 1-0 to No. 7 ranked Cannon Falls (11-2 overall) in Hayfield Monday.

The Bombers scored the game-winning run in the top of the seventh when it put together a two-out triple and a two-out RBI.

The Vikings (7-7 overall) had the bases loaded with no outs in the bottom of the fifth, but they couldn’t plate a run.
