Decorah, Iowa – Ian Christopherson, a 2014 graduate of Austin High School, was presented his first collegiate varsity letter at the Luther College Swimming and Diving team’s annual awards banquet held April 23. Christopherson competed in freestyle events for the Norse.

During the 2015-16 season, Luther posted a dual meet record of 3-3, captured a 12th consecutive Iowa Conference championship and completed the year posting a runner-up finish at the Liberal Arts Championships for the fifth year in a row.

Christopherson is the son of Mark and Aleta Christopherson of Austin, Minn.
