The Austin High School Alumni and Friends Association is accepting nominations for the Distinguished Alumni Award given during homecoming, scheduled for Oct. 7. The selection criterion is:

—The candidate(s) must have graduated from Austin High School at least 10 years prior to the induction.

—The candidate(s) must have contributed to society in an exemplary manner.

—The candidate(s) must have achieved outstanding success in any of the following: business, a profession, the arts, humanitarian efforts or community service.

Nominations will be taken through June 1.
