A vehicle thought to be stolen sometime between March 8 and Tuesday morning was found to have been repossessed by the bank.

Officers responded to the 400th block of Third Avenue Northwest Tuesday morning to the report of a stolen white 2003 Mazda 6 with Minnesota plates, Police Chief Brian Krueger said previously.

The owner thought the vehicle was stolen but was unsure how as it was locked and she had the only keys. She called police sometime after to report it had been repossessed by the bank, not stolen.
