An Iowa woman is dead following an accident on Highway 63 just north of the Iowa border Friday afternoon.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, Rochel Buck of Cresco, Iowa was killed when her Chevy Impala, traveling northbound on Highway 63, collided with a semi driven by Kenneth Lynch of Independence, Iowa who traveling southbound.

The accident took place at around 4:40 p.m. just six miles north of the Iowa border.

The Fillmore County Sheriff’s Department, LeRoy Ambulance and Spring Valley Fire assisted.
