Austin grad AJ Nywesh was named Mon-Dak Athletic Conference Player of the Week for the third time this season for this past week.

Nywesh averaged 25.3 points, 4.3 rebounds and 5.6 assists for Lake Region State College over the past week.

Nywesh has surpassed the 1,000 career point mark, he is 10th in all-time scoring at Lake Region and he is the career free throw percentage record holder at Lake Region.
