The Hayfield girls basketball team was able to give its starters a rest for much of the second half as it beat Blooming Prairie 65-49 in Hayfield Monday.

Maggie Streightiff scored 15 of her 17 points in the first half for the Vikings (16-7 overall), who led 51-17 with 15 minutes left in the game when they pulled their starters.

Lauren Larkoski and Sam Wurst each scored 10 points for the Awesome Blossoms (14-8 overall).
