A 19-year-old accused of exchanging nude photos with a boy and inappropriately touching him at a Udolpho Township home was sentenced Thursday in Mower County District Court.

Courtney Waters, of Sergeant, was charged with second degree criminal sexual conduct and distributing electronic communications concerning sexual conduct to a child. Both charges are felonies. She pleaded not guilty to both charges Sept. 9, 2014, but changed her plea to guilty Aug. 31, 2015, for the charge of distributing electronic communications concerning sexual conduct to a child. Waters was sentenced to three years of supervised probation and 15 months of prison, which she will serve if she violates the conditions set by the court. They include sex offender treatment and predatory registration, among other conditions.

According to a criminal complaint, the victim’s parents discovered graphic photos on the victim’s iPod and graphic texts on the victim’s phone.
