Hayfield High School will be hosting a girls basketball showcase that includes some of the top teams in the state Saturday.

The day will include the use of both gyms at Hayfield and there will be seven games on the schedule, with the first contest starting at 1 p.m. and the last contest starting at 7 p.m.

The showcase will feature nine teams that won at least 20 games last season and there will be squads from Class A, Class AA and Class AAA.

Hayfield will play Waterville-Elysian-Morristown in the East Gym at 7 p.m. and No. 8 ranked Lyle-Pacelli will play Plainview-Elgin-Millville, which is ranked No. 1 in Class AA, in the East Gym at 3 p.m.

Other match ups include Kenyon-Wanamingo vs. St. Croix Lutheran at 1 p.m. in the East Gym, Randolph vs. Legacy Christian at 2 p.m. in the West Gym, Stewartville vs. New Richland-HEG at 4 p.m. in the West Gym, Kasson-Mantorville, which is ranked No. 4 in Class AAA, vs. DeLaSalle at 5 p.m. in the East Gym and Byron, which is ranked No. 7 in Class AAA, vs. Waseca at 6 p.m. in the West Gym.
