Zonta wants Austin to say ‘no’ to violence against women; 16 Days of Activism to close with speaker at Dec. 10 event

The Zonta Club of Austin and the Austin Human Rights Commission is looking for local residents to join in saying ‘no’ to domestic violence.

Along with hosting a recent event a recent event with Rep. Jeanne Poppe, DFL-Austin, the Zonta club will close its 16 Days of Activism: Violence Against Women with guest speaker Tori Miller from Crime Victims Resource Center at 5:15 p.m. on Dec. 10 at the Mower County Government Center in the conference room near the east entrance.

The event is co-sponsored by the Zonta Club of Austin and the Austin Human Rights Commission.
