Lyle-Pacelli senior Courtney Walter is a guard on the No. 3 ranked Athletics.

Q: How did you originally get into your sport?

A: My parents put me into youth basketball in 4th grade.

Q: What’s your favorite sports memory?

A: Either going to state last year or my 30 point game in 7th grade.

A: Not everything is about me. Helping other people achieve their goals is just as rewarding as accomplishing my own.

Q: What is the hardest part about your sport?

A: It’s such a long season that it gets to be pretty hard to stay motivated and give 100 percent every day.

Q: Who is your biggest sports role model and why?

A: Probably my dad. He’s always pushed me to be the best I can be and has been coaching me since I’ve started whether he’s in the stands or on the bench.

Q: What is your favorite movie or TV show?

A: Any Disney movie.

Q: What is your favorite subject in school?

A: Science

Q: What is your dream job?

A: To fix up houses with Chip and Joanna on Fixer Upper.

Q: What is your favorite food?

A: Pizza.

Q: What are your plans after high school?

A: Go to Minnesota State University Mankato and major in biology and eventually go to dental school.

Q: What are your top three pump songs before a big game?

A: Whatever my sister decides to play.
