Patricia Ann Ille, 83, of Blooming Prairie, Minnesota, died Wednesday, Nov. 4, 2015, at Prairie Manor Care Center.

She was born Oct. 31, 1932, near Harmony, Minnesota, the daughter of Wallace and Helen (Madsen) Hutton. She attended school in Harmony, graduating in 1950. She then attended the University of Minnesota graduating with a Bachelor’s Degree in Home Economics. After graduation, Patricia worked as a Home Extension Agent in Caledonia, Minnesota. On June 21, 1956, she was united in marriage to Harvey Guy Ille at the Scotland Presbyterian Church in Harmony. After their marriage the couple lived in Blooming Prairie, where Pat owned and operated “The Corner Room” a Scandinavian stitchery and giftware shop for many years. Pat was an active member of her community, serving in leadership roles for many local organizations, including AAUW, where she was a charter member, River Trails Girl Scout Council, Blooming Prairie School Board, Friends of the Library, McFarlin scholarship fund and the Prairie Chicks, a home extension group. She was also an active member of First Lutheran Church, serving in circle, choir and helping with the annual lutefisk dinner. Harvey died on Jan. 16, 2012.

Survivors include her children: Sue Ille of Rochester, Angie (Jeff) Johnson of Eyota, Minnesota and Steven (Holly) Ille of Blooming Prairie; nine grandchildren: Jeremy (Melissa) Wallace, Mitch Wallace, Spencer Wallace, Ryan (Jacob) Potaracke, Jake Bell, Blair Johnson, Alec Ille, Isaac Ille, and Ryan (Sarah) Srsen; three great-grandchildren: Celia Wallace, Jonah Wallace and Brody Srsen; two sisters: Naomi Evensen of Worthington, Minnesota and Donis (Richard) McCallum of Rochester, Minnesota; three brothers: Peter (Barbara) Hutton of Corvallis, Oregon, Dan (Arla) Hutton of Harmony, and Robert (Lynn) Hutton of Little Falls, Minnesota; many nieces, nephews; and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Wallace and Helen Hutton; her husband, Harvey Ille; daughter and son-in-law, Becky and Lyle Wallace; and a grandson, Ross Johnson.

Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 28, 2015, at First Lutheran Church in Blooming Prairie with Pastor Heidi Heimgartner officiating. Visitation will be held for one hour prior to the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials should be directed to the Blooming Prairie Library or the Blooming Prairie Education Foundation. Worlein Blooming Prairie Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. Condolences may be expressed to the family online at www.worlein.com.
