A 25-year-old Iowa woman was injured in a crash on eastbound Interstate 90 Tuesday morning east of Elkton.

Kassandra M. Kennedy of Ames, Iowa, was taken to Mayo Clinic Health System in Austin after her 2001 Ford Escape struck the right side of a 2009 Ford truck driven by Joshua T. Johnson, 33, of Owatonna around 8:39 a.m., according to the Minnesota State Patrol.

Kennedy was transported for injuries believed to be non-life threatening. Johnson was not injured.

The Escape sustained moderate damage and was taken to Midtown Towing, while the truck sustained minor damage.

The Mower County Sheriff’s Office assisted on scene.
