The Austin girls cross country team finished in sixth place and the Austin boys took 12th place in the 12-team Big Nine meet in Owatonna Tuesday.

Abby Lewis took sixth for the Packer girls, who had won the last two Big Nine meets, and Madison Overby took ninth. Henry Hinchcliffe took 40th for the Packer boys.

Rochester Century won the boys meet and Red Wing took first in the girls race.

The Packers will compete in the Section 1AA meet in Owatonna Oct. 29.
