Michael Salscheider has taken over Mike Ruzek’s business, Prime Time Health Advisors Llc., and is offering Medicare supplements, health insurance, annuities and life insurance. Sears celebrated its move from Oak Park Mall to its new location next to Pizza Ranch with an open house. Chamber Ambassadors joined in the celebration with a ribbon cutting inside the newly renovated store. Pictured at center, cutting the ribbon, is Sears Hometown Store owner Corey Squires.

The Way Café and Freedom Event Center has opened in the former El Parral Ballroom building at 210 Fourth St. NE. The Christian-based café serves food and specialty coffees and also hosts live entertainment. Meeting and event space is also available for rent. Ambassadors held a ribbon cutting with church leaders, including (from left center) Pastor Ray Tuck, Pastor Rory Synoground, Amelia Synoground and Frank Sloan.
